So I'm experiencing a problem where my PC starts working normally except for slow response times after it's been running for a while. After a couple days in another house, when I brought it back home it wouldn't power on at all. I checked the case, confirmed everything was properly seated, and even removed the GPU and PSU cord to test. When I reconnected everything, lights and fans started up but I still couldn't turn it on. I tried turning off the PSU power button, then plugging in the GPU and PSU again, and it worked perfectly. However, when I tried to restart, it didn’t display anything on the monitor, though all other components were functioning.

I’ve heard that this could be due to a faulty PSU cord or port, or maybe I need to update the BIOS or reset it to default. Since I’m new to PC setup, I’m unsure what to do and even considered the possibility of needing a new motherboard. I’d really appreciate any advice or guidance to resolve this without having to replace my whole system.

Here’s how my system looks:
- Gigabyte 3060 12GB
- AMD Ryzen 5 2600
- 16GB Corsair RAM
- Thermaltake 500W PSU

The PSU's manufacture and model (or part number) are provided. Additionally, the age of the PSU is inquired, along with whether it was purchased new, used, or refurbished.
