Ensure only the microphone recognized by the game is active in your game settings and Windows audio device configuration.
Click the volume control and choose "Open Sound settings". Ensure your microphone is chosen as the input device and you’re receiving levels from it. If it isn’t listed in the "Choose your input device" menu, open "Manage sound devices" and verify it’s enabled. Confirm your mic is connected to the right port, that port matches the correct header on the motherboard (if not using a direct board connection), and that the microphone lacks a physical mute button.
