Hello, Your PC has suddenly begun increasing fan speeds to maximum, turning off your monitors, and preventing you from shutting it down. The only functioning features remain audio and RGB effects on the case, keyboard, and mouse. This behavior is unusual and could indicate a hardware or software issue. Could you help identify the cause and suggest a solution? Your system specs include an i7-2700K processor, Zotac 1660S motherboard, 16GB DDR3 RAM, 128GB SSD, 1TB HDD, 650W power supply, and around six RGB fans.

This occurs during idle time or when under stress or heavy load.

ok that would be called a crash. specifically a firmware crash if the fans are speed controlled by the bios. chances are if you slapped a 1660 into a decade old board then that would probably explain why the firmware/software/os don't exactly want to be stable anymore. With nobody checking for compatibility issues on a board that old eventually some sort of update is gonna break it.

Occasionally both occur, though they tend to be more frequent during gameplay.

You're welcome for the support. It seems the power cable supplying the GPU from the PSU wasn't functioning correctly. I attempted to detach the power cable while the PC was running, but the issue persisted. Switching to another PSU cable resolved the problem and restored normal operation.
