The PC shuts down instantly upon inserting the CPU, and it fails to power on completely even when the CPU is properly seated. The cooler was removed without pulling the lever, and a few pins show minor bending, though it appears to be a hardware concern rather than a motherboard fault.

Navigating through countless AM4 boards, diverse BIOS updates, and millions of DDR4 setups alongside around 20 CPU options can be overwhelming. LIST.YOUR.SPECS. EVERYTHING. Still, a post isn’t proof your CPU isn’t functioning. Because you removed it from the socket, the most likely suspect is the CPU itself.

The processor activates because it’s designed to power up automatically once the socket is inserted. This ensures the system boots correctly and gets ready for operation.
