Hi everyone. I'm facing some issues with my computer. The screen often turns completely black without warning, and it seems to happen more frequently while gaming. It also occurs during idle periods, lasting anywhere from a few minutes to an hour of use. The only solution so far is performing a full hard reset. I can still hear the computer making noises, and Windows plays a disconnect sound.

I've tried the following:
* Installing graphics drivers fresh
* Checking GPU and CPU temperatures – they're normal even during games
* Swapping out cables (using DisplayPort for my main monitor and HDMI for the second one)
* Verifying all connections are secure, including power cables for the GPU and CPU
* Cleaning the computer's fans

I'm not sure what else to do and would really appreciate your advice.

My system details:
* GeForce RTX 3070
* AMD Ryzen 3600x
* 750w Cooler Master power supply
* 32GB DDR4 RAM
* 500GB SSD and 2TB HDD

Hello, I have a basic setup with 2200g. Should I choose a well-known and reliable Corsair PSU like the CX550, or opt for a Cooler Master 750 White 230 that my friend can provide if needed? Here are the links: Cooler Master MWE 750 Corsair CX550 Thanks!

hey, ive been having basically the same issue. if you go to event viewer after having the black screen issue, do you see something like the display driver has stopped working and recovered? image below as an example
if yes then im pretty sure its a windows update that caused it. i tried to roll back my nvidia drivers to 466.77 but that didnt work, and when i tried to system restore my windows from the day it updated i ended up getting put into a boot loop and had to reinstall it again. the reinstall was an image after the update that broke my GPU so either id try to roll back updates with caution or wait for an update from either nvidia or MS. it sucks but thats the only thing ive found in the past week ive been researching this issue
🙁
ill try to post an update if i find a fix
