Hello, your PC restarts normally but displays a black screen during gaming sessions. The OCCT CPU test and memory tests pass, while the GPU test causes crashes with a kernelpower event in the logs. The PSU has been changed but doesn’t resolve the issue. You have an AMD Ryzen 9 5950X with a Gigabyte 3080 waterforce M.2 SSD, 500GB Corsair RX 6600, and a 1000W RMAX cooler. Temperatures stay around 45°C despite the changes. It seems like the restart process keeps the screen black for a short time before it works again.

View the event viewer for Windows logs under system. Check for any non-information logs near the crash. After disconnecting the battery and clearing CMOS, observe the system behavior.

I understand, I adjusted the GPU in your message, but I realized I meant to change the PSU instead. The updated text now reflects that.

It happened unexpectedly while I was playing. I fell asleep, got up, and tried again—it restarts.

I left my pc for a whole year and am still trying to get back on track. I realized it was the GPU (Gigabyte 3080 WaterForce) with leak detection that caused the issue. Before posting, I unplugged it to check, but it kept leaking. After a year, I noticed the connector pins were making contact again. Probably due to vibrations—even though I unplugged it, it stuck between the PCB and waterblock. I pulled the connector down more and it worked.
