Hey everyone, I’ve been on the road for work most of the past three or four months and haven’t had much time at home. My computer stayed off for a while, so it wasn’t using it much. When I tried to turn it back on yesterday, it wouldn’t boot. As someone who’s pretty tech-savvy, I checked things out—switched it in via the HDMI port and set the time on the motherboard. I updated all the drivers that might have caused the issue. While it was running, I connected it to my 1080 and it appeared as a second monitor after booting through the BIOS. But when I tried to power it again today, it wouldn’t turn on. From what I’ve seen so far, it seems like the CMOS battery might be the problem, but I just want to confirm before swapping it out. P.S. All components except the storage and 1080 were brand new, bought two years ago.
The boot process works now, but the QLED display on your motherboard remains active. Consider checking the display settings or contacting support for further assistance.
