Hi, I have had a problem with my PC for a wile. It's not that had just a bit annoying bout I'd still like it fixed. If I want to turn on my PC 70% of the time, it just don't do anything and I have to power cycle it to get it to turn on. It's not the CMOS battery and it's definitely the motherboard (i switched all other components) Here is my setup: - Ryzen 5 3600 (I'll update it tomorrow to a Ryzen 9 3950X) - Asus ROG Crosshair VIII Formula ATX AM4 Motherboard - Asus STRIX GAMING OC GeForce RTX 3080 10GB 10 GB Video Card - G.Skill Trident Z RGB 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16 Memory - SeaSonic PRIME Platinum 1000 W 80+ Platinum Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply - Samsung 970 Evo Plus 2 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 3.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive - Corsair MP600 Force Series Gen4 1 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 3.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive
Likely the mainboard is the issue. Make sure the BIOS is current. For gaming it’s not crucial. If you play, consider getting a 5800X3D.
