The PC prevents me from opening anything or restarting/shutting down.
Hello, your PC was normal the next day. After turning it on, after 5 to 30 seconds I can't start any apps. When I open Google or YouTube, the video plays and internet works, but if I try another tab or change this one it fails to connect and causes infinite loops. If I don't open anything, only the Windows folder appears and I can navigate through it. The Windows key tab won't open, I can't restart unless I power it off with a button. Ctrl + Alt + Del doesn't work. Scanning system files found corrupt files and repaired them, but the problem remains. Restarting Windows Explorer folder.exe in Task Manager just makes it black. It works fine on another drive, but this one has all my files. I don't want to reset Windows...
It functions properly on my other secondary drive, but with the Ryzen 7 1700, RTX 2070 Super, 16GB CL16 DDR4 3200, SSD, gaming setup plus two extra storage drives.
I only manage about 10 seconds each time to back it up, or so I think. If I can't fix it, I'll have to try that last resort.
Observe my computer occasionally performing this unusual behavior, where the wallpaper flashes and/or the task bar turns black, then clears briefly before restarting again. Sometimes it restarts on its own or after a reboot, and I was able to fix it instantly or simply by leaving it. I also entered safe mode and restarted, but the issue repeated.
5 hours won't solve it... so I have to restart 😢 RIP settings, saves and presets
