The PC operates without issues, yet certain games lack sufficient smoothness?
Hi there everyone,
I'm a newcomer and I'm seeking some guidance with my rig. It was built in 2020 and it's working well overall, but it doesn't feel smooth enough in certain games, particularly FPS titles like Apex Legends.

I've tested benchmarks and here are the results:
UserBenchmarks: Game 110%, Desk 91%, Work 100%
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600X - 91.3%
GPU: Nvidia RTX 2070S (Super) - 118.2%
SSD: Kingston A400 480GB - 88.5%
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 2TB (2018) - 84.7%
RAM: Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO DDR4 3200 C16 2x8GB - 90.1%
MBD: Gigabyte GA-B450 AORUS PRO-CF
Someone, could you help me optimize the setup to get better performance and stability? I have a 1440 screen and sometimes capping it at 144 during intense moments brings the frame rate down below 110. Also, I notice occasional random stutters that I'd like to fix.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated — I'm not very tech-savvy.

Hello! I hope everything is fine. To improve your gaming experience in Apex Legends, make sure to update your GPU drivers, Windows, and BIOS. Keep an eye on temperatures and adjust graphics settings accordingly. Close any background apps that aren’t needed. You might think about mild overclocking if you’re comfortable with it. Ensure your SSD is optimized by using available space and running TRIM. Enable G-Sync (FreeSync) to reduce screen tearing, and install GPU drivers cleanly. I hope these steps help resolve your issue. Thank you.

this is after restart with everything off
Did you pause for a few minutes after the reboot before executing ubm? Just to mention the edges.
There’s a lot of initialization happening, which is using more than 5GB of RAM.
You might want to simplify the startup group.
You’re running a bit late with the BIOS—consider updating it and verify the chipset driver for a fix.
