Occasionally, when I return to my PC and it enters screensaver mode, instead of a mouse click restoring the screen, the system freezes with a black display. No action seems to work—pressing the mouse, using Alt-Tab, or Ctrl+Alt+Delete doesn’t help. If I wait a short time and return, the login screen appears, I enter my password, and everything works again. My desktop is restored, but other programs remain closed. What could be causing this issue, and is there a way to fix it?

Verify whether your motherboard BIOS and operating system require any upcoming updates.

Please explain the steps for accessing the BIOS despite the OS updates. The issue seems linked to the older BIOS version. Let me know if you need further help.
