I've been facing issues with my PC for some time now, and it's hard to figure out what to do. Problemdescription: While playing certain games (like "It takes two", "Supervive", "Titan Quest 2 Early Access"), my PC frequently crashes. The monitors go black while the power stays on—RGBs and fans are still active. The only solution is completely cutting power by flipping the PSU switch in the back, which has become more common over the past two years. It usually happens when I play games for 5 to 30 minutes. NOTE: LoL or other long sessions don't seem to cause problems. What I've tried so far: GPU stress tests with no issues, CPU stress tests once (Cinebench) caused a critical kernel error reported by Windows Event Viewer, but no more lately. A new CPU was installed two days ago but still crashes. Combitests with Prime95 and FurMark showed no errors. Memtest86 passed, OS reset test in OCCT gave no issues, and after a full Windows reset I managed to play "It takes two" for about 5 hours yesterday (new personal record) before it crashed again. I ran Hwinfo during tests and gaming, but logs never indicated extreme temperatures or voltage drops. My setup (about 5-6 years old) includes: CPU: Former Ryzen 5 5600X → GPU: GeForce 3060 MB, RAM: 32GB DDR4, PSU: Be Quiet Dark Power 12 750W, SSD: Samsung 980 1TB M2. I'm really stuck and only have options to replace the PSU/Mainboard or buy new parts. I don't have spare components, and I'm not sure what else to try. Help would be greatly appreciated!

I've looked into resolving the problem. I checked multiple RAM modules, and the quality of each component seems good based on the brand and model.

I've run some intense stress tests on the system (CPU, GPU, RAM checked with memtest86 under heavy loads beyond typical gaming demands). Apart from that, I replaced the CPU and updated all drivers and BIOS. All four RAM sticks are identical models. Recently, I've been playing Diablo 4 and PoE2 for a while without any problems—until now when my PC shut down unexpectedly but not with a hardlock. I was able to restart it using the power button. Event Viewer reported a critical error: Kernel Power Event ID 41. It seems the PSU might be the issue at hand...

I've made the necessary adjustments. Let me know if you need anything else!

Usually I encountered issues with kernel power 41 due to faulty RAM. You might want to increase the power supplied to the memory controller. It seems you're using a memory profile—check if the kit includes four modules or if it's actually two 2x units. If the problem lies in the ladder settings, adjust the timings manually. You could also try turning off the RAM profile and running auto speeds to determine if that fixes the issue.
