The PC monitor switches on and off intermittently.
Yesterday night I switched from an AIO to an air cooler. This issue occurred in the morning, when I started the PC and the screen would turn on and off during Windows BIOS setup. Initially, the PC wouldn’t boot because of the second RAM slot. I tried changing the RAM but it didn’t work. Then I reset the video card, re-seated it, and reset the CMOS, but nothing resolved it. The system still has the same specs: Asus Prime H310M-A R2.0, Intel 1-3GHz, 8GB Corsair Vengenance RAM (2666MHz CL19 1.2V), TeamGroup RAM (2666MHz CL19 1.2V), Gigabyte M2 2280 with 256GB, and an RX470 8GB Sapphire Nitro OC. A video of the problem is available here: https://youtu.be/XuRJUKqaKis
The details about your PSU make and model, as well as the age, were not included. Your motherboard appears to be running the most recent BIOS, but if it was recently updated, reset the CMOS and replace the battery after 30 minutes. Your RAM setup seems unusual with two different sticks; I recommend using a matched pair (ram kit).
This doesn't appear to stem from a bad cooler setup. Likely issues lie with the video cable or GPU connection. Begin by re-seating the video cable, then test various cables and ports on the GPU and monitor. Is this the sole concern, with all other functions operating as expected before?
Do you want to know if after the cooler things work again everything is okay?
The psu is a Techsolo TP-730 Rev. B, 730W.
I attempted to clear the CMOS but didn’t wait for 30 minutes (the bios was updated two months ago).
Since the specs are the same and only the manufacturer differs, I didn’t notice any issues.
This occurred in the morning after last night; I changed the CPU cooler because I didn’t start it due to fatigue.
