Hello. My PC is fairly new, only six months old. This issue began roughly two months back and has increased in frequency. The motherboard and RAM sticks remain active, but the GPU only flickers when the system restarts, which seems normal. There are no BSODs usually, though I’ve been experiencing them lately.

I don’t know how to fix this. Event logs display just the unexpected crash (Kernel-power 41). Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

My computer doesn’t restart in BIOS or the “repair windows” screen, but it does reboot randomly when I’m in Windows or safe mode—like pressing “reboot” on my machine. I can’t even reinstall Windows anymore after wiping the SSD; I’m guessing it’s either the SSD or the CPU.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer! How are you managing to cool the processor? Regarding your PSU, try to find a dependable one—either borrow or purchase a well-built unit with at least 850W—and check if you can run the system smoothly under load.

Hi!
It seems the cooling is working, but the shutdown even in the log screen suggests temperature might not be the main problem. Also, if the PC has been running well for about four months before this issue, the PSU could be the next suspect.
Mod Edit:
Any advice on further steps to diagnose would be helpful! The free MemTest86 test ran without issues.

The forced upgrade to Windows 10 caused my old PC to start bluescreening, which prompted me to switch to Ubuntu Linux, known for its stability. A thought to keep in mind.
