Hi, I recently assembled a PC using the parts listed here. The GPU I purchased from eBay seems to be causing issues with the motherboard. It’s extremely challenging to get the system to boot properly—multiple power cycles are needed before Windows loads. The VGA indicator on my ASUS board often stays lit, suggesting a problem with the VGA output. Once it finally boots, strange events occur, and the screen flickers rapidly or shuts down completely without any signal detected. I’m running Windows 10. I attempted to reinstall drivers via Adrenaline but that didn’t help, so I removed all existing drivers using DDU and reinstalled them again with Adrenaline, yet the issue remains. Do you have any advice or information about this situation? I’ve attached some photos for reference:
Using used hardware means they come in "as is" condition, with no guarantee they will function like new devices. Still, I recommend testing them with a second GPU, which is known to work. This approach seems more reliable given the current evidence.
It looks like the GPU had an issue. Likely a driver problem, as it functioned properly for a short time. I purchased a replacement and plan to send the defective one back to eBay. Appreciate your help.
