The PC keeps restarting and shutting down, causing the debug display to flash a red light.
I enabled MSI Fast Boot and XMP profile 2, everything functioned properly. I switched off my PC switch instead of powering it down, then turned it back on after some time. It continues to cycle on and off with a debug light, showing the PC shutting down every 2-3 seconds, no display output, but it seems to fix itself. My system specs are: Intel i7 12700k, MSI BOMBER WIFI b760m, 32 GB Crucial 5200mhz RAM, Radeon RX 6750 XT 12V RAM, Corsair CV750. I’ve already tried changing the RAM and removed/inserted it, but no help was given. Resetting the CMOS doesn’t seem to help either.
Welcome to the forums, newcomer!
After clearing the CMOS, disconnect from the wall and show the display. Then remove the CMOS battery, hold the power button for 30 seconds, and replace it after 30 minutes. Try this method.
Use one stick of RAM on slot A2 and see if it improves performance. You didn’t mention the PSU make and model.
For your setup:
Intel i7 12700k
MSI BOMBER WIFI b760m
32 GB 5200MHz RAM
You should’ve considered a non-K SKU processor with the B series chipset.
If you opted for the locked processor, explore a DDR5-6000MHz RAM kit to maximize performance.
Also, check how you’re cooling the processor.
it's awkward to admit, but i have a 240mm radiator named aura
