Pc boots with a working motherboard displaying VGA and the boot red light, though it stops now. Connecting HDMI to the GPU brings it into BIOS but exits and re-enters BIOS repeatedly. BIOS lists memory, CPU, and SSD as connected. No details about the GPU in BIOS. Linking HDMI to the motherboard has no effect. GPU fans spin. It seems to be clicked in the right position and connected. PCIe cable with the adapter from the GPU is plugged in. Still nothing works. Specs: NZXT N7 B550 3060 TI Founders Edition, AMD Ryzen 5 5600X, Corsair DDR4 Vengeance RGB Pro SL 2x8GB, 3200 White, RM Series 2021, 750W, 80+ Gold, fully modular ATX power supply.

The R5 5600X lacks an integrated GPU, making the default HDMI connection on the motherboard nonfunctional—use GPU video outs instead. Does your SSD come with an operating system? Did it launch into the OS as expected? Edit: Most BIOS won’t display GPU details; I’m using an MSI M.2 drive and haven’t seen any info.

SSD doesn't come with an operating system, so it's not installed by default. This is usually the case on the first boot.

It should work normally now, as the issue occurred when you shut down before installing Windows 10.

A solid initial verification is to ensure your board maker has listed your RAM's SKU on their QVL for that model. These problems don't align with what I encountered before finding this, yet the suggested DIMMs led to varying issues across different boards, none of which were noted in their QVLs. If not, it suggests potential stability concerns. Some argue it’s irrelevant, but Ryzens are known to be very particular about RAM, making this a likely culprit for your issue. I’ve heard about everything from random crashes to boot loops, occasional hard crashes, failure to wake from sleep mode, and no-video POST failures after every 8-12 cold starts. It really threw me, but I solved it—I found that two out of three affected machines had the RAM replaced with QVL-recommended versions and are now working perfectly.
