What rate are you getting online? If your device handles 300 Mbps, it likely isn’t your provider limiting speeds. Is this your latest model? Which computer are you connecting to?

Paying for 300 down and 10, Spectrum Basic (probably). The build feels fresh with a ROG STRIX B450-F gaming rig. I think the board only needs an update.

Phones rely on TOWER data rates combined with your network speeds, discard the phone numbers. Your ISP guarantees what? How does Speedtest on your PC reflect this? Is your router set up with specific bandwidth preferences?

You're seeing around 350/11 DL/UL with a 14ms idle latency and a consistent line. This indicates stable performance without significant variation. There may still be minor issues in your setup, but overall your system appears to be functioning well.

Wi-Fi can be quite slow and will never match the speed of a wired connection. Windows appears to prefer connecting to Wi-Fi first; turn off Wi-Fi when not in use.

PC reports 26 downloads. Spectrum advises aiming for 300 downloads and confirms it's hardwired to the router. No bandwidth concerns—just two phones, three Alexas, and my PC.

Relies on the specific router model, but that isn't the main issue I was addressing. Within the router's configuration you can allocate bandwidth for a particular IP range, Wi-Fi access, or any other settings you prefer. By default, no reservations are made, though I’m unsure about your router’s past behavior. Also, there are three major spyware programs and two smaller ones... You need to frequently check your router just for maintenance. However, let's focus on identifying the problem since you’ve already verified local Spectrum timeouts and everything appears normal. Go into your router settings and disable Wi-Fi. Power it off, then restart the router, followed by your PC. Re-test the speed.
