I made a significant mistake earlier and am considering whether to start fresh. I had an AM4 motherboard and attempted to upgrade from a Ryzen 2600 to a Ryzen 5600G by updating the BIOS, but the system failed to display any video output. All components powered on, the motherboard fans spun, and the debug lights worked, yet nothing appeared. I tested various settings, re-flashed the BIOS, changed the CMOS, removed it, and everything still didn’t work. Now I’m replacing both the CPU and motherboard. I’m experiencing the same issue after setup. I’ve tried everything possible, but the result remains unchanged. With the 5600G, I’m also testing onboard and GPU graphics. Could it be the RAM? Would that have caused the problem before if there had been no prior issues?

You're experiencing identical issues with two motherboards and CPUs. It might be worth exploring other solutions. Temporarily remove the GPU and rely on built-in graphics to simplify troubleshooting. Reset the CMOS by clearing it to restore factory settings. Ensure the PC is powered on with lights and fans functioning. Verify your monitor and display cable for any disconnections. If the PC remains inactive, inspect the power supply unit to confirm proper connection and voltage. Also, check for any error codes from the motherboard, such as LED indicators, display messages, or BIOS beeps.
