Hello Guys I've just upgraded my brothers PC, I've built a couple PCs by now so I didn't think it would be a problem. But it just won't Post, the Mainboard has Q-LEDs, which indicate a Probelm with DRAM. I've already tried a couple of things: - GPU works, tested it in my PC - tested without GPU. just IGPU, same error - PSU should work, tested the system with the old PSU, same error - ordered some new RAM, tried it but still same error - took a look at the CPU, looks fine to me, reseated it, still same error This are the Components: - ASUS ROG Strix Z690-F Gaming Wifi - Intel Core i7-13700K - MSI GeForce RTX 4080 16GB SUPRIM X - Corsair Vengeance RGB 2 x 16GB, 6000 MHz (Kingston FURY Beast RGB 2 x 16GB, 6000 MHz) - Corsair RM1000X 1000 W - Samsung 970 EVO Plus 500GB As far as I know those should all be compatible, altough this is the first time working with intel in a long time and first DDR5 build as well. If anyone has encountered similar issues or any suggestions I'd appreciate some help.

It's a KF CPU with the iGPU turned off. Have you checked each RAM stick separately in all slots? Since new RAM was purchased and verified, it might point to a motherboard or CPU problem. If the motherboard is the issue and the system boots, updating the BIOS could resolve it.

Sure, I didn't realize that before. I tried various setups using both types of RAM.

We gain knowledge while using it. If every component is purchased separately, I’d opt for a motherboard return. From what I’ve noticed, there are more motherboards with problems than CPUs (except for certain older AMD models with special pins).

I mixed them up—I got the K Version, haha, not used to the new naming system Intel uses. Yeah, I’ll give it a shot, thanks a lot!

It might be necessary to install a BIOS update for your z690 board if you're running a 13th generation processor, as the chip was originally designed for the 12th generation.
