So occasionally my PC won’t boot into Windows, making me shut it down repeatedly until it functions properly. Sometimes I have to use the repair screen, enabling safe boot or troubleshooting steps. On the motherboard, all the lights turn off indicating a check, but once the boot light disappears, the PC doesn’t actually start. I’ve tried replacing and re-seating my GPU, even bought a stand to help with the sag. I also reset the RAM and downloaded a fresh copy of Windows. I reinstalled it onto a larger, newer SSD, but the issue persists. According to some sources, it might be my GPU failing or the PSU isn’t working (though I’m hoping that’s not the case). Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Welcome to the forums, newcomer! I need to use the repair screen and either safe boot or troubleshoot. This might suggest the OS is corrupted, the drive is malfunctioning or failing, or the motherboard BIOS is overly strict. I've downloaded a fresh copy of Windows. Where did you get the installer from? I even reinstalled Windows onto a bigger, newer SSD and still face issues. Are all drives disconnected except the one for OS installation? I read that it could be my GPU failing or my PSU (though I really hope it's not). You didn't mention the PSU's make, model, or age. Aorus x570 pro wifi – what BIOS version do you have on your motherboard? Two 1 tb Samsung SSDs. Do you know which ones are in your setup? One 1 nvme SSD. What is the model and year of your PSU?

I set up Windows from a USB drive, removing all other drives except the one I chose for installation. The PSU is a Thermaltake PS-TPG-0650FPCGUS-R Toughpower Grand RGB 650W Gold Fully Modular Power Supply, approximately six years old.

SMBIOS Version 3.2

I possess ONE -128gb Samsung SSD 850 PRO 128gb
AND ONE WDS100T2B0A-00SM50 Western Digital Blue 3D NAND 1TB TLC SATA 6Gbps 2.5-inch Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)
