Hi, I recently purchased a Gigabyte B760M Gaming Plus WiFi DDR4 motherboard but am experiencing lag, delays, microstutter, and sometimes a blue screen in Windows 10. Reinstalling Windows, reseating the CPU, and removing the CMOS battery didn't resolve the issue. My previous board was an Asus Prime B760M-K D4 with other specifications.
There was no specific reason for the purchase other than the affordable price.

The PSU's make and model (or part number) is? Its age is also unclear, and whether it was purchased new or used/refurbished. What happened with your old Asus MoBo? For reference, I'm using a high-end CPU (R7 9800X3D) with a MoBo having 20+2+1 VRM, rated at 110A with SPS. A high-end CPU works best with a top-tier MoBo because it demands more stable power delivery, which more VRM phases can offer.
Also, your old Asus MoBo likely has 7+1 or 6+1+1 VRM configuration. The exact specs aren't listed, but based on the choke count, it matches one of the two options. Your new Gigabyte MoBo is a downgrade from the Asus model.

My two PCs are powered entirely by Tier A+ PSUs. I own Seasonic PRIME 650 Titanium (Tier A+) and Seasonic PRIME Ultra 650 Titanium (Tier A+). I’ve attached the specs and images for reference.
Purchasing fan Y-splitters or a fan hub would have been more economical and simpler, rather than spending on low-quality modules and dealing with the hassle of replacement parts.
I’d consider replacing my ASUS module with a fan hub instead.
Just because it supports Core i9 doesn’t automatically make it a good choice to run a low-end motherboard with a high-end CPU.
Alternatively, you could reach out to Gigabyte and negotiate a better deal since they designed the module.
Perhaps there’s an issue with the module, and you should return it for repair.

Adding the rest of the system at about 100W or less would likely cause the PSU to fail, along with other connected devices. A 550W unit is insufficient; a minimum of 650W is recommended.
They mentioned bringing additional models, but on the day I purchased mine it was only a Coolermaster PSU. So the problem might be related to the PSU or the CPU?
