I play some games on my pc for a short time, but it keeps redirecting me back to the sign-in screen. Once I log in, it loops again and again. I have to restart the computer each time, after which it lets me play for about 5 to 10 minutes. I’m up to date with everything, but this is exactly what’s happening as I share this. I often need to restart my pc to post this.

MSO Msi Mag Mortar B66F0 with i3 12th gen 12100f, RAM, PSU, MSI Gaming AMD Radeon RX 6600, ATX power supply, and a few other components. If you require my case or additional info, just let me know. It seems the experience isn't just about starting up but also about being locked out, with background games still running and a grey sign appearing instead of the usual blue one. After some time off, the blue window sign shows up, and I get occasional pings or notifications when it locks me in. A fresh Windows install would be the solution if needed.

I wonder if the CPU is overheating. I don't think so, as I can still crash on the home screen. It isn't happening as an i type because I left it to rest overnight, but I'm sure it will occur later today. My parents have a program called Qustudio on my PC, and I have a feeling it might be related, though I can't confirm yet.

Is there a malware scan for the system? Take a screenshot of this grey login screen, upload it to imgur.com, and share the link here.

I can experience this again later tonight, probably. For now, it's just the usual screen indicator with a grey background that lets me switch accounts and view everything. I've run a malware scan using Windows tools, but it doesn't always check every file thoroughly, so it might catch some malware bytes.

No worries, I've solved it. It's my parents' parental controls.
