I use the highest settings and my computer runs smoothly, so it’s likely a memory or power issue. I plan to swap out my power supply first—shouldn’t that cause any problems? It’s happened before with new boards blowing up.
It works fine for some setups while failing others. I’m checking a 2080 and a 2700x. A 650 would barely suffice. The power supply unit is quite old and its model varies. This is why troubleshooting guides list specifications—they often become essential more than half the time. If they’re around the same price, I’d estimate around 850 units, since upgrading later would just bring you back to the same situation. Edited July 2, 2022 by Bombastinator
