I don’t know the exact fix, but you might try disabling the soundbar’s HDMI output or checking if it’s being treated as a display in your system settings. Also, ensure the soundbar isn’t connected to the wrong HDMI port or driver is misconfigured.
When using just one monitor, open Settings > Display and choose "Show only on 1" to view it exclusively. Your graphics card controls, like Nvidia Control Panel or Radeon Software, should also offer an option to hide it on other monitors.
Turning off the video signal still lets audio pass through the cable. A/V options for HDMI, DP, and DVI work independently.
