The PC fails to start when the WC pump is connected.
After integrating a GPU block into the watercooling system, the PC fails to power on when the pump is connected. We're using an Aquastream 12V model. Removing the pump (via Molex) allows the computer to boot normally. The situation becomes interesting if the pump is connected after the PC has already started. It will function properly in that case. Connecting it to any external PSU using the green and black wire method also works, though not with the currently installed PSU. Someone here might have useful suggestions?
It seems the power supply needed a minimum of one HDD connected to avoid problems. Possibly the 5V pin on the Aquastream isn’t properly linked, causing the PSU to think there’s a short. Trying other devices and completing the build resolved the issue. The computer now boots normally.
