Hello
I purchased a GIGABYTE GA-EG41MF-US2H REV: 1.0 motherboard. However, it doesn't boot with dual channel RAM mode—it only functions in single slot mode. I checked for bent pins on the socket but they aren't bent at all. I also overclocked the DRAM voltage without success. Could you assist me?
I also successfully flashed my BIOS to the latest version F5. My RAM sticks are working fine on another computer. Please help!

Older boards often need low-density memory. Crucial.com highlights modules with x64 in their descriptions, indicating chips on both sides. Also, ensure one module lacks all nine chips on one side—this is required for ECC memory to function. http://www.crucial.com/usa/en/compatible...ev*-1*0%29
Two matching modules in the slots should suffice. Low-density DDR2 667 or non-ECC 800 should also work.

Hi, thank you for reaching out!
I understand your issue clearly.
Your current system has a standard 4x2GB DDR2 RAM at 800MHZ, but it doesn't work properly on the new motherboard.
Only with older hardware does it function correctly.
You also tried using slots 1 and 3 without success.
Could you share more details about the motherboard model or any error messages?
