The PC fails to start following the GPU overclocking attempt.
Hey everyone, my computer won't boot after I overclocked the GPU using MSI Afterburner—it won't go past the motherboard logo. I can start in safe mode by uninstalling MSI Afterburner, but it still doesn't work. I also tried loading an optimized profile in BIOS just in case, but that didn't help either. My current specs are: Gigabyte GTX 1080, Intel i5 8600K, Asus ROG Strix Gaming E, Corsair RM 650, and Corsair 16GB DDR4.
Can I access the BIOS to restore everything to its original configuration? That would be the first step. After that, I should boot into safe mode and attempt a reset or repair of Windows 10 to determine if it improves the situation.
I might also think about deleting the graphics driver using DDU in safe mode, then reinstalling it. It could be worth removing the card during a reboot before installing the driver again.
