I removed my CPU cooler to see if I needed fresh thermal paste. Then I reinstalled my original AMD 3700x cooler and turned on the PC, but it didn’t boot. Assistance needed.

If you remove the CPU cooler, you’ll likely need fresh thermal paste. Have you noticed any unusual sounds or lights? Are there any error codes displayed? Did you reconnect the CPU fan? You might want to re-seat the CPU to ensure proper contact. Also check the RAM connections—especially if you changed the dimmer settings.

Did you verify that the CPU stayed properly seated after taking off the cooler? It may shift slightly, and reinserting the cooler could risk harming the pins.
