I've included the PC in my signature for clarity. Recently, I've encountered issues with several ports—rear audio stopped working first, then one front USB port disappeared, and now another front port is missing. I thought it might be a loose connector or a faulty port. I checked everything, tried reseating RAM and GPU, and even booted without the front USB header. The system hangs and won’t power down unless I turn off the PSU. I noticed fans aren’t spinning up at startup, which is odd since most GPUs don’t run a fan test on boot. I’m concerned my handling might have damaged the board. It’s an M-ITX model with no built-in diagnostics. Any suggestions for further troubleshooting? It seems like it could be time to look for a replacement.

Have you assembled the PC yourself? If so, I’d remove all panels and inspect the cables. This might point to a grounding problem. Particularly if you’re using non-grounded power sources. Ensure no pins from Molex connectors are touching the case. Look for crushed connectors that could short to the case. Another approach is disconnecting all peripherals except monitor connections and powering on the PC. If it functions, the issue likely lies with a USB device. Verify the motherboard is properly seated. You might also try removing it from the case and testing it outside using a cardboard box or wooden surface. If that doesn’t work, remove the CMOS battery and RAM sticks while the PSU is off. Wait 5 minutes, then reconnect cables and see if it boots.

Just got it running after removing one RAM stick; it booted up right away. I had moved the CMOS pins on the motherboard earlier but that didn’t solve anything. It’s strange how removing just one stick made it work perfectly, especially since both sticks now function without problems and the USB ports are back online. Still, this board looks like it needs a replacement—it feels unstable and sensitive.

When the systems begin operating but no signal is detected, yet they remain powered without any activity or updates, you might need to perform memory training again. This process can sometimes require a significant amount of time. With my setup, completing the memory training took 32 minutes the first time I installed all four sticks.

It started up but remained unresponsive. Only the RGB lights were visible. After a brief pause, it didn’t react again. I reset the CMOS, removed the GPU, and tried booting later without success. Eventually, I removed a RAM stick to test and it worked. I suspect a memory training session after clearing the CMOS might have helped restore functionality. The motherboard still needs replacement due to missing USB ports and audio issues. The USB-C port on the back is damaged—previously it caused a short circuit when connected. I only used it for VR before switching to wireless.

Well... it's unclear if anyone will notice this, but a strange event happened this evening. Turned on the power and it started spinning up, then stopped right away, repeating the cycle. Disconnected the power source, reconnected it, and it worked again—but still had the same issues. I removed the same RAM module and it functioned properly. Added another one and it resolved the problem once. I've experienced odd RAM behavior before, but this seems different. Could be a motherboard issue too? I haven't swapped RAM sticks yet, though in hindsight, I should have tested just that stick while removing it.
