I'm trying to set up a PC for my nephew and it didn't power on. I thought the BIOS might need an update, but maybe the hardware is faulty. After flashing the BIOS, everything still didn't work—no lights or fans when the CPU is on. Removing and reinserting it didn't help. When I swapped it into another machine, it booted normally. But if I take it out and reassemble, nothing comes on. The part list you shared looks useful for reference.
I've noticed it's often suggested to go with the smaller option, especially since my minimum was 16GB.
