Hello. On my second machine I increased the speed of my Ballistix 3200 MHz CL16-18-38 to 3466 MHz at 1.35V, then to 3466 MHz CL14-19-19-39 at 1.42V. Everything functioned properly. Recently the PC restarted because of a Windows Update and now it doesn’t boot if RAM is overclocked. I adjusted the CL, used XMP settings, and tried a 3000 MHz CL16-18-38, but neither helped. It only starts with the default 2666 MHz. Here are my details: i5-11600K, Gigabyte Z590, 2x8 GB Crucial Ballistix, 3200 MHz.

If you face problems with an overclock that can't be reproduced, it's advisable to reset the CMOS and begin fresh. GL.
