Hey, thanks in advance for any input you can provide, details below. So i work away for 3 weeks at a time and then have 3 weeks off, i just returned home and pc would not have been used, went to turn it on and it blue screen cycled for a lot of attempts. my attempted fixes were as follows, reseat cpu (had a brief look at pins everything looked fine but only a BRIEF look), reseated ram stick's, reseated nvme drives. tried both ram sticks separately in each slot and both ram sticks boot in the 4th slot of the board but no other. relevant specs below. pc was working as normal no hiccups before i went to work. and now with one stick it is happily doing its thing just on 8gb of ram instead of 16, is it possible the motherboard slots somehow killed the 3 most left ram slots but left the 4th fine? ryzen 3900x asus prime x570 pro gskill ripjaw ddr4 8gb 3600 cl18 1080ti evga sc2

You mentioned both RAM sticks function well in slot 4. Consider restarting the BIOS (reference guide for most ASUS boards here https://www.asus.com/us/support/FAQ/1038568/) if the issue persists; otherwise, it might indicate a faulty motherboard or CPU RAM channel. I experienced a channel failure on my R5 3600 years ago, resulting in similar problems (a RDB cable short to the back of a RAM slot caused it to stop working).
