The PC fails to start, displaying the CPU debug light?
I observed some artifacting during a game and the same issue appears to be affecting my programs by causing random closures. I took out the GPU and RAM to force a restart, but after reinstalling everything it no longer boots. At first, the debug light stayed on for the VGA port, then I cleared the CMOS and it stuck on the boot light. After that, I removed some RAM sticks and reinserted and seated my CPU, but now it’s getting stuck on the initial CPU debug light. Could you suggest what might be going on? My GPU has caused problems before, so I’m guessing it might be failing since I can’t see any output from it now, though the system still powers on normally.
Shut down the system and disconnect it from the wall, obtain an eraser, extract the RAM modules from your build and apply the eraser to the gold contacts on the RAM (optional for GPU as well). Clean the surface thoroughly of any residue from the eraser, then place one stick into slot A2. Regarding your motherboard, there is a BIOS Flash button located at the back. Consult page 41 in your manual at https://download.msi.com/archive/mnu_exe...02v1.5.pdf to check if you can attempt to recover the system. It might be a BIOS issue (corrupted).
