Hey, I'm dealing with a problem that's been giving me trouble for a while. I recently installed a new PC and initially added a 16GB dual-channel RAM setup. After upgrading to a 32GB configuration using two dual-channel kits, the system won't boot at all.
I've tried several solutions:
1. The two new RAM sticks function correctly when swapped in instead of the old ones.
2. Placing only two sticks in the designated slots (A2-B2 or A1-B1) resolves the issue.
3. Adding more than two sticks doesn't work.
The original dual-channel kit I purchased was a Kingston FURY Beast 12GB DDR5 6000MHz CL30 Dual Channel Kit. The second kit I received is identical, and I checked for compatibility, noting it's QVL - KF560C40BBk2 - 16.
My motherboard is a GIGABYTE B760 AORUS ELITE AX. I've also experimented with removing the CMOS battery before and after installation. I updated the BIOS, but given that the last update was to F3/F10d, I might try again if nothing else helps.
The XMP profile is currently off, which seems to be a contributing factor. I suspect the problem might lie in the RAM configuration or compatibility settings rather than the hardware itself.
