The PC fails to power on with the GPU installed, yet functions normally without it?
I encountered this issue yesterday (refer to the video), just a few hours before everything functioned properly. Taking the GPU out of the PC resolves the problem.
I experimented with the GPU on another machine and the same occurred—PC fails to power on and no troubleshooting lights appear on the motherboard.
It appears the GPU is non-functional, yet it’s delivering insufficient power to the motherboard (RAM RGB works but the diagnostic lights remain inactive).
Anyone know what could be faulty on the GPU causing this? Is there a fix possible, or should I consider replacing the GPU altogether?
I think there might be a short circuit in the GPU leading to the PSU safety mechanisms activating.
This was my initial attempt, the only one I could think of. I plan to bring it in for service tomorrow to check if it can be repaired.
