Hello,
Following the CPU overclocking, I had to restart my PC. Once restarted, it would fail to power on.
The machine is relatively new, only a month old. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
🙁
Details:
AMD Rayzen 7 1800x
Corsair RM750x 750W PSU +80
Corsair hydro H100i V2 Extreme
Gigabyte AX370- gaming 5
Gigabyte GTX1080Ti

Restore CMOS to undo the failed overclock. This will set BIOS parameters back to their original values. If no damage occurred, this should suffice.

Do the above.
What settings did you use to OC?

DRagor :
Reset CMOS to remove failed overclock. This will restore BIOS setting to default ones. If you didn't damage anything, that should be enough.
Could you explain how to reset CMOS?

I used Rayzen Master, I turned it to 3.8Ghz and expended the memory it used.
I'm fairly new to overclocking so I followed a guide... Sadly the outcome was different in my case

Motherboard manual page 21, under section "21) CLR_CMOS (Clear CMOS Jumper) ". The location of jumper is shown on page 13.

To reset CMOS you can refer to the motherboard manual page 21, specifically the "CLR_CMOS" section. The jumper is located on page 13. Once the PC is back on, you should check if any adjustments are needed or if it should remain unchanged. I also ran cinebench and it performed well.
Edit: The motherboard's LEDs appear to be off; changing their color didn't help.

It has returned to the stock configuration, meaning no overclocking is happening at this time. No worries, but since you seem to lack sufficient overclocking expertise, it would be better for your system to remain unchanged until you gain more knowledge about it.

It is back on stock settings, so no overclock at all right now. No offense, but seeing you don't have enough overclocking knowledge, it would be better for your machine to leave it as it is until you learn more about it.
No worries I'm fully aware I should have searched more about overclocking before attempting it.
As far as I can tell the CPU is not on stock settings.
Also any idea what should I do about the LEDS of the motherboard?

I understand, I should have looked into overclocking more before trying it. It seems the CPU isn’t set to stock levels. Regarding the LED indicators on the motherboard, it might be that the drivers have been reset. You could check the manufacturer’s official site for any relevant driver updates.

Mandy123 shared their thoughts on the situation. They mentioned they should have looked into overclocking more before trying it. It seems the CPU isn't set to stock levels. They also asked if there are any motherboard driver options available on the manufacturer's official site to adjust the LED indicators. They were unsure and found a control program but it didn't seem effective.
