I faced problems getting the output to my monitors when powering on the PC. I removed the GPU, reinserted the RAM and took out the BIOS battery. After these steps the machine wouldn’t start at all—no lights at all. I switched to a different power cable and another BIOS battery but that didn’t help either. I checked the power supply and the GPU on another computer and they functioned properly. I also tried disconnecting the power button from the motherboard and used a screwdriver, though neither worked. Could there be something else preventing it from turning on? I’d really appreciate any advice, sorry if I missed anything—I’m still getting familiar with this setup.

Review the motherboard's User Manual:
https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/MPG-Z390...ort#manual
Ensure the first RAM module is placed in DIMMA2 (as indicated on page 29).
If this does not affect the outcome, verify that all connectors, cards, RAM, jumpers, and case connections are securely installed.
Follow the steps on page 43 to reset CMOS. No screwdriver required.

Thank you for your message. I attempted to install a single stick in DIMMA2 but it didn't work. It seems I might have missed something by removing the CMOS battery and not following the instructions on Page 43. If you don't have a jumper, is there a place where you can obtain one?
