PC operated normally until power was cut during driver installation. Upon launching the Windows logo, it opened briefly before freezing. I own a budget PC that I plan to upgrade later when funds allow. Graphics card: PowerColor RX 6500 XT; CPU: Intel I5 3570; RAM: 8 GB; Power supply: 650W.

Please note the location where you're sharing information. For troubleshooting, starting with a Windows repair install is the next action. Begin by attempting a restart without using the GPU.

It's unlikely someone would turn off a PC during an update, so I'm assuming this was due to a power issue or fatigue. If that's not the case, make sure to switch your display cable to the motherboard port and activate iGPU in BIOS if needed. From there, you can fix or reinstall Windows as required. A safe mode boot might also work for updating GPU drivers. Updated June 27, 2022 by An0maly_76 – more info
