The PC keeps displaying "New CPU installed Please enter Setup to configure your system" each time it boots, preventing further startup. This issue suggests a problem with the installation process or a conflict in the boot sequence. Investigate the setup steps and resolve any conflicts to fix the error.

Have you attempted using F1 to access the configuration menu? Consider resetting the CMOS or disconnecting the battery to reset it.

This question seems unusual. Have you recently installed a CPU on the motherboard? It usually shows up after changing the CPU. The BIOS has noticed the new CPU and is prompting you to verify the setup by pressing F1, then confirming with F10 to save and restart.

Any update on this? I'm having the same issue. Recently upgraded my CPU to a 13600k and an ASUS Z790-H motherboard with a couple of corsair vengeance DDR5-6000 RAMs and now i'm stuck in this "NEW CPU" screen. Pressing F1 to go to the BIOS doesn't do me any good. The computer just shuts down after 15 seconds.

if it's shutting down, it might be overheating

I don't believe that's accurate. It suggests using F1 to access settings, which will cause shutdown in 15 seconds. I've tried pressing F1/Del to open BIOS but it doesn't register the key inputs I make. The keyboard is recognized because it displays 3 KB in the system and the lights on my keyboard activate during this display.
