Tinker with the multiplier, and leave the ram alone.
There is an interaction. Overclocking ram impacts your cpu overclock.
Faster ram means very little to intel performance.
How good do you need to be?

It's an MSI MPG Z390 Gaming Pro Carbon. I reset all the overclocking settings, enabled XPM and Game Mode, and everything is stable (running 240 FPS in Fortnight). I'm satisfied with the result. The fan really helped, and a good CPU definitely makes a difference. I've been running it for a few hours without any issues, so I think I'll let it be.
