Hi everyone
After turning my PC back on after a long time, I decided to buy an Xbox game pass for £1. My son wanted to play Forza 5.
When downloading it starts smoothly for around 10 to 15 gigabytes, then it stops and freezes, so I keep shutting it off with the power button.
I also downloaded Starfield again, but it keeps shutting down too, which isn’t good!
It takes a long time to run any games—it just hangs up. It’s connected to my 55-inch Sony Bravia 4K TV.
Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated! Thanks.

What's the RAM consumption?
Is the HDD being downloaded?
How much space is available on the SSD?

Upload the image to imgur.com and share the link here.
The 71% occurs during downloads or when idle?
What is the HDD usage while downloading?
Check the system health?

Hi
The screen shot shows a good status, around 94/95%. The HDD is working well and the SSD is at 100%. The RAM is at 98% and the normal HDD is at 99%.
I also checked again and everything looks stable.
The download from Steam is active, as my son asked to play Forza 5.

The SSD and HDD are fully utilized. Defragmenting the HDD will help optimize its performance.

Hello
I ran the defrag on the result drive, which holds the games. The free space is 1.24 TB versus 1.81 TB. I removed some games in the hope it would assist!
The C drive, being an SSD, has 31.8 GB free out of 237 GB.
My son is playing Forza 5 Horizon at 60 fps (based on Steam frame rate). It runs at 1080p. I purchased it via Steam.
Loading games takes a long time, but once loaded it works fine. It crashed once.
I’ve considered adding another 8 GB of RAM to see if performance improves.
A better graphics card would help too. Maybe a larger, faster M.2 SSD!
Even thinking about building a new PC, I’d recommend AMD or Intel.
Thanks for your time and assistance.

10 years old Seagate 2.5" drive.
Use Hdtune to check HDD health (health section).
Display screenshot.
It seems the drive is failing—replace it.
Your system is running out of RAM.
Upgrade to at least 16GB, preferably 32GB.
