The overclock occasionally lost stability.
I previously ran my 3570k at 4.6ghz with 1.26v stability. Recently, I changed settings and accidentally pressed the clear CMOS button on my motherboard. It was very stable before. Now, attempting to recreate the overclock causes Windows to freeze and shut down unexpectedly during idle or light tasks. Interestingly, under stress, the CPU doesn’t crash for long periods. The highest temperature recorded was 80°C. It also doesn’t fail in Linux. The settings I adjusted were:
All Core - 46
Spread spectrum - off
speed step - off
xmp profile - 1
cpu voltage - up to 1.32 (still limited to 1.26)
CPU LLC - level 1
Advanced
Test with CPU LLC at full capacity. Also try XMP disabled to assist in identifying the issue. Several power settings are unavailable since they rely on C-states being active.

Consider trying the test with CPU LLC set to its highest level. Also, please run the test with XMP disabled to assist in identifying the issue. A few power settings are missing because they rely on C-states being active. Thanks. I turned off all cstates and switched to speedstep, and it no longer crashes.
