So here’s the situation: I got The Outer Worlds through a game pass on Microsoft Store for PC, and it worked fine when I first downloaded it about two weeks ago. A recent update was released, and I also got it without any problems. Last night I tried to launch it and ended up on a Microsoft Store page that looked like an Xbox app—just clicking the desktop icon or double-clicking took me there. The store itself didn’t require any installation; it just showed ads. I checked my graphics card and everything seemed okay. I searched online and saw many people reported issues last year, but no clear fixes were found. Some suggested changing the desktop clock settings in case of a time change error, though that seems unrelated. I’m not very tech-savvy, so I tried updating the store or my account, but nothing changed. My internet speed is slow, which makes things even trickier—any pauses would be extra annoying. Do you have the game pass available? You can also start from the store directly under 'Installed'.
