What do you think? I played Resident Evil 2 at 1600x900 by mistake and had internal res scaling up at 200% with shade AA off, it looked impressive. I then put it to 1080P and put internal res to 180% and it looked amazing, honestly i prefer epic AA solutions over actual resolution, quality is still more important than resolution IMO. Consider the specific situation when comparing AA and resolution settings. Titles with a built-in time system perform better with higher rendering quality, allowing more detail for the temporal AA to maintain smoothness. Games using MSAA should run at their original resolution, or they may appear distorted. Ultimately, individual preferences play a role too.
