Hi,
I was able to replace the part of the sensor that attaches to the mount and lets it tilt. I found out I needed a replacement because the old one was discarded during cleaning and I realized it was needed when setting up my VR again.

use epoxy or get someone who has a 3d printer to print you a new piece?

How do I even locate the model for such a piece? How is it even referred to? That's my main concern, I can't search for something without knowing its name.

no idea but don’t you have the piece? most 3d printing enthusiasts know how to create a model. however, if you remove the sensor, all you’d need is a mount with tilt. check the ocolus page—maybe they carry spare parts.

Unfortunately, I accidentally discarded it and already looked it up on Oculus' site.

You might need to think outside the box and explore options at a hardware store. In my mind, a piece of very thin PVC pipe (or something comparable) could be viable if you apply epoxy to it. You may also need to spray paint it black to blend with the surrounding area. I assume you're in the U.S? Look into the 'hardware' or plumbing sections at stores like Lowes or Home Depot.
