For roomscale, 4 sensors are generally recommended to ensure smooth tracking and stability. Using 3 might limit your performance, while 4 offers better accuracy and responsiveness. It’s worth it if you plan to maximize roomscale benefits.

Three is sufficient according to me. The jump from two to three made a noticeable change, while moving from three to four would only bring very small improvements or none at all if positioned correctly.

I own 4 Sensors and must admit in all fast paced games like Arizona sunshine a fourth sensor does come handy. There is noticeable less jiddering when making very Quick turns. But i maxed out my play area, so if you play in a smaller room 3 Sensors are clearly enough.

I'm confident three sensors are sufficient. I experimented with a two-sensor configuration by positioning them oppositely, which enabled full 360° gaming but introduced some blind spots. Switching to three sensors reduced noticeable jitter and eliminated dead zones. In my view, four sensors would be overkill.
