The NZXT Fan Hub isn't functioning properly. Need assistance?
Hi there. I replaced my PSU and had to reconfigure all my cable settings in the rig. Once everything was fixed, my 7 fans stopped spinning except the CPU fan. They’re all connected via a built-in fan hub behind the motherboard tray. I spent the whole day trying to fix it myself. The top connector on the fan hub is for power. There’s a cable from this connector to the fanspeed adjust HUD right in front of the NZXT case. From there, three small wires lead down to a Molex power connector and then into the PSU. I’ve tested various Molex cables from the PSU to the one that feeds the fan-adjust component on the case, but it didn’t help. I opened up the controller and found a board with transistors working fine; all cables look good and undamaged. I checked everything carefully. It seems like the issue might be elsewhere. The three LED lights on the controller illuminate when you change the fan speed, though they’re covered—power is present. Can you help me out? I’m really worried about this.
Thank you for your quick reply. The selection option appears in three steps on the case. There is only one Moxel cable, and it has always worked when it was operational yesterday. The setup includes ten fans on the fan hub. Two small cables run across the cable from the same controller, powering two LED lights that illuminate the I/O shield for better visibility of connection points. These lights are also not functioning properly.
It seems quite alike to your Phantom 820. Got it, sorry about that.
