The NZXT Cam FPS overlay functions well with other titles such as Rocket League and Borderlands 2, yet fails with DOOM. It didn’t show up when using the hotkey (Shift + O). Have anyone had similar issues?

the vulcan/dx12 model from doom is a basic API, and currently third-party first-person shooter trackers aren't compatible with it

MAX, MIN and average frames per second are consistently accurate for the NZXT Cam. DOOM’s built-in stats don’t show those values, and Fraps gave wrong MIN FPS readings, which is why I’m avoiding it.

They still function, though NXT Cam is missing sadly.

Doom stands apart from most titles by not relying on DirectX; instead, it uses OpenGL and Vulkan. It's unclear if NZXT Cam supports OpenGL games, and Vulkan is generally unsupported by overlay tools these days. As a result, you rarely find tech reviews testing Doom in Vulkan mode—most software simply doesn't work with it. Even the Steam overlay currently doesn't function properly with this version.
