The Nvidia GeForce driver is causing issues with my desktop.
I usually rely on GeForce Experience to install the latest drivers. However, after downloading it, my desktop began to crash. It took 5-15 minutes before the entire screen turned white, blue, or black, then the system crashed. I had to restart the computer to get it back up. This issue occurs even when I'm not gaming or browsing, and it happens even when my computer is idle.
Currently, I'm using an older driver from March, which is functioning properly. Windows 10 keeps trying to update the newest NVIDIA driver, causing crashes. (I'm running Windows 10 Home, so I can't modify the updates.) Anyone with similar experiences or advice would be helpful?
Spec: GeForce GTX 760 x2 (using an SLI bridge, attempted to install the latest update with the SLI bridge and without it). I7 2600k 3.40 ghz
Btw (it's not overclocked)
If your build is solid and you're using a functional NVIDIA driver, don't upgrade to that problematic version for you. Your card might be underpowered, and the latest updates could be causing issues.
